For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a calling to create spaces.
I'm an Interior, Furniture and Building Designer.
I'm a foodie, francophile, a wannabe potter, traveler, gardener, knitter, and chicken lover.
I love what we do and the people we work with.
I'm from Sweden and I have lived in the states for most of my adult life. I believe I bring a little Nordic flair to most of our projects as well as inspiration from our trips.
I attended Kendall College of Art and Design, and I have over 29 years of design and build experience.
My design interests began as a child with treehouses, and continues now with the playful additions I like to add to my work with Flatbrook.
On the side, I am a musician, a singer, a painter, and a cat lover.
I’m currently based out of Paris, France, where I completed my Master’s degree in Interior Design. Although I was born and raised in upstate NY, where I also attended RPI for architecture.
I have been a designer with Flatbrook since March 2021.
I was born and raised in upstate NY and have lived in Columbia county for the last 14 years, where I’ve worked in the field doing what I love, finish carpentry.
A couple of my goals are to master a second language (must be Swedish) and to properly play the guitar. I love to travel the world with my wife, France being at the top of the list and I absolutely adore chickens! I enjoy spending time working in the garden or being at the pottery wheel making a bowl or ten!
I have more than 35 years of building experience, which I am very proud to bring to our clients at Flatbrook We are a small, woman owned, family business who work tirelessly for our clients.
I have been a happy member of the Flatbrook team since 2018.
I’m from upstate NY, where I love to spend time outdoors gardening, skiing and fishing. When the weather isn’t great, you can find me experimenting in the kitchen.
I enjoy finish carpentry, and I’m always interested in learning new techniques and tools to apply in the field.
I began working with Flatbrook & Co in the winter of 2024.
I was raised in central NY, where I spent a lot of time learning carpentry from my dad. Because of this, I’ve always loved working with my hands.
I love the outdoors and travelling. In fact, I recently completed a road trip around the entire of the USA!
I appreciate working with Flatbrook because we take pride in the work that we do, and this means we maintain a great quality of work.
